About CAST-YEA
Overview: The CAST-YEA (CAST Youth Elite Award) is a flagship program of CAST-USA Education. It aims to promote STEM interdisciplinary education, innovation, collaboration, and communicational skills among students in secondary schools and universities. Finalists will be invited to receive their awards at the 2026 Global Innovation Summit & CAST-USA Annual Convention.
How to Apply:
1. Prepare the required materials and be ready to submit by 8/15.
2. Email all required materials including one essay, two recommendation letters, academic scores in the past two years, one photo in high resolution, name, address, phone number, and parent's name and associated chapter of CAST (if applicable) to [email protected] by 8/31.
3. Select a payment type in the bottom of the page, for early-bird discount by 8/15, for regular fee or Lifetime Member by 8/31.
Note: Complimentary participation in CAST-YEA and CAST-YEC for CAST Lifetime Members and their children. A proof must be submitted with the required materials for verification.

1. School: Grades 7-12
2. College: Undergrads, Grads, and PhD.
3. Scope: Open to all regions and countries.
Materials
1. Essay up to 2 pages with a headshot.
2. 2-yea academic transcripts.
3. Two letters of recommendation.
4. Name and address in English & Chinese.
Milestones
1. 8/15: Early-bird deadline ($50).
2. 8/31: Final submission deadline ($60).
3. 9/30: Finalists announced.
4. TBD: Awarded ceremony.
Awards
1. Top 10 Finalists: receive distinct honors.
2. Categories: 1st Place (1), 2nd Place (3), and 3rd place (6) per group.
3. Finalists ranked 11-20: receive Certificate of Excellence.
4. Recognition: Awards are officially presented at CAST Global Summit.
